A question for Mormons?

That doesn't sound right? I'm an ex-mormon but i know what a presiding bishop is and it is pretty cool. You would be the head of the entire ward (congregation) for a certain time that's why it is called "Presiding" because it is usually temporary. Any way I am not sure if you would become that. Personally I've never heard of this being done. I'd also like to express that you seriously drop the notion of joining. They will try anything to try to get you to join but there are way to many fallacies within their belief system and if you join and then decide to leave you will be shunned and harassed for years for it.
